On hearing the words of the younger one, Junseo had to suppress a smile. if he was not wrong in reading the way he spoke, it sounded as though he was a bit stand-offish ? He had heard that way of speaking a lot of times, given that many people are that way either because they are generally arrogant, or because they were being cautious. He did not believe that it would be the former, considering that they both did not know each other to have any sort of arrogance or dominance over one another. And if that was the case, well he was sure that the other one was in for a surprise given that Junseo was someone whom one would describe as arrogant and brash. but then again he only behaves that way when someone disagrees with him, else he is all smiles and cutesy. [break][break] "It truly is, but could be a bit better though, may be a bit windy" agreed Junseo calmly hoping that his presence had not spiked the kid to become cautious. What or whom did he think of him to be? he was the most go-easy person to be present there and not to mention handsome as well. Now that he thought about it, he had been referencing the younger boy with no name in his head and decided that he better place a name to the face and spoke up "I'm Choi Junseo by the way, you can call me Joon". he dug his surf board into the sand a bit so that it would not fall down and with a curious smile he asked "can I join you? I wouldn't be a bother I swear, it's just that.. I mean it is pretty boring to just sit all by myself". he hoped that his positive and straight forward attitude would make the other guy ease up a bit. After all, here he was practically stating the facts and there was nothing to hide. [break][break] When asked about him, Junseo gave a grin and said "had a good time till now, no work today, unless I end up using the pictures i have taken till now". It was true though, he was not expected to sit at his desk in WW, and the editor could not care less where Junseo was as long as he could get the pictures and articles on time. And given that he loved his job, it was no big deal for him to manage as the columnist and photographer. He only did the job for the happiness it would bring him rather than for the money. He enjoyed writing and he also enjoyed capturing moments in his camera and in his eyes the money was just a bonus. not that he needed it or anything. His eyes did catch the sudden movement the boy made and he wondered just what he had hid in that second, his curiosity taking up front seat in his mind. he had seen that the boy was reading, and at his presence he had closed the book bag. that was the kind of behaviour a wizard would do when in the presence of a muggle, may be the younger kid was a wizard? How would he find it out without putting the stature into jeopardy. After all Joon could be wrong, and the guy could've been hiding some magazines from him. [break][break] When asked about his surfing, Joon nodded his head "it was great today, ended up surfing through some high waves, definitely appreciate the adrenaline rush" as he admitted. may be quidditch was good, but surfing through the water gave him an odd sort of excitement and happiness, while other would call it madness. But to Joon, he loved the whole way of trying to balance himself on the sleek board all the while enjoying. In fact it was better than quidditch, no bludgers chasing him at least. "What have you been up to ? Do you live in here ? as in Brighton, I mean Or just here for the vacation?"asked Joon wanting to know more about the mystery guy. In the end he decided that he himself needed to give out a few details and continued on "I dropped by only for today and I am glad I did, I could've wasted a beautiful day like this sitting in London"

Junseo may have graduated a while ago, but somehow it never felt appropriate for him to move out and away from his parents. And while that would be rather surprising to many, he on the other hand would not want it any other way. he may have been a muggle born who was working in the wizarding world, but he was not willing to leave behind his parents, at all. They had doted on him for soo many years and he could not leave them for themselves now. While they weren't in a stage that they could not fend for themselves but it was his way of showing his love to them and for making up to them. They were rather rich, his father is the CEO of the most famous chain of hotels and his mother is a well known Prosecutor/ or a lawyer in the City of London, and being born as their only son made sure that he had nothing to worry about while growing up. But unlike others, his parents have allowed him to pursue his dreams and aspirations without coming down on him to claim his place as their successor to the dfamily's wealth. They were more than understanding when it came to him being a wizard and even when he mentioned that he would take up a job as photographer and columnist in Witch Weekly, a rather odd profession for someone born into the family of Choi. [break] [break] Junseo was alone that day at home, which was not surprising o say the least, as his parents have left for work that day. he decided to head out to one of their cottages in Brighton and spend the time near the sea and may be even get some pictures. The cottage while not used anymore was a place the Choi family used to spend their weekends at times when Junseo was a kid. After he started Hogwarts the place was rarely visited, as he was only present for the vacations and that was the time they would chose to fly back to Daegu to see his grandparents and extended family. The cottage was a place which was quite calming to him and he enjoyed the pleasant tides and the sound of the sea gulls. After dressing up and picking up his camera, Junseo apparated away to the cottage and quickly headed out to the sea-side. That particular day, the climate was perfect in his eyes as he walked his way down the sandy shores. [break] [break] Junseo took out his surf board and decided to enjoy his time on the high tides which were perfect for his rising adrenaline. He did not have the fear of drowning unlike the muggles, as he knew the bubble headed charm very well and can even perform it wordlessly, and add in the fact that he can use magic when it was a life threatening situation. He enjoyed quite some time surfing through the high waves and literally was drowned in the cold water and decided that it was time to step onto the beach and take some pictures. Shaking his head off of excess water, Junseo went into a nearby changing room and picked out a white shirt and shorts to match the beach vibe. [break] [break] As he made his way, through the shore, his eyes fell on a guy who was a few years younger than him but yet seemed to be a bit familiar to him. he wondered who it might be, given that Junseo often interacted with people, muggle and magical alike. Well many a times, he would be spared of the trouble of trying to find about the other person as people end up recognizing him a lot. He would be recognized as the heir to the richest couple in London or as some one whose name would be on the Witch Weekly magazine, either for his articles on fashion, his photographs or he himself being noted for his model like looks. He approached him and spoke in a casual tone "hello there. Enjoying the day?" he didn't care of the person in front of him was a muggle or wizard, Junseo can definitely hold a conversation with ease. That was a bonus of being a muggleborn, he had experienced the life of both worlds and can blend in well.

PERSONALITY
Being the Son of a CEO and a Board Director, Choi Junseo had everything in his life. Born in one of the richest family in UK, he is a spoilt brat if one can be honest. Given his wealthy background he tends to flaunt it a lot, though he does not do it to look down upon the lesser fortunate, he just likes to be recognized as the best. He had been given everything and thus he does not know the value of many things, and he is slowly trying to learn it all as he goes. Life before Hogwarts had been boring for him, and only after he went there did he actually understand what enjoyment meant. Junseo is rather a vain person and tends to spend a lot of his time in looking presentable a habit he had picked from his mother. And thus you can see him in his best each and every day.
Junseo is someone who has a tendency to jump into action before even thinking of a plan. He’s extremely loyal to those he calls his friend and that extends more to his circle of friends. He’d go to any length to protect those dear to him; regardless of how much danger that puts himself in. When he meant danger, he literally means getting dirty and often resorting to fights, not that he would ever admit to it. His loyalty doesn’t just include running headfirst into danger, but also helping out his friends in anyway possible and most of the times he would try and be nonchalant about it.
If anyone were to ask, it would be safe to say that Junseo grew up a lot in these past three years. While still an arrogant arse, for the most part, he has left the days where he would strut. It just doesn’t seem fun or right for him anymore. While he would have jumped at any given opportunity to pick fights with people for simple things, he is now choosing to either ignore them or may be intimidate them. He had definitely controlled himself a lot in these three years. He can be pretty stubborn at times and would move heaven and Earth if that was what it takes to prove his point. And this attitude of his makes him a lovable person and a pain in the arse as well.
According to Junseo, the one thing which frightens him the most is anyone crying, especially a female. He’s a twenty three year old male who has zero tact when it comes to emotions and thus he has no idea on how to deal it. He doesn’t do crying. But when it comes to his friends, he had come to know that being there with them seemed to be the right thing to do. Other than his friends, he has never been able to console or much less be a support for someone who is crying their eyes out.
PS : at times you hear him utter words in Korean even while he speaks in English.
amortentia : woody smell of his broomstick, rosemary, gasoline, petrichor (earthy smell of rain)
boggart : Junseo fears that he would end up dead in the hands of pureblood supremacists or worse his parents would die because of him. (He had heard that several parents of the muggleborns died in the last war)
miror of erised : to live a happy life without any worries about people targeting him cause of his bloodstatus.
patronus : animal- corporeal or not
why that animal?.

PARENTS : Choi JiHye formerly Min JiHye, 57, Board of Director in Emerald Law Firm, muggle Choi DongHyun, 58, CEO of Saffron Hotel Group, muggle OTHERS : Choi KyuHyun - paternal grandfather Park Eun-Sang formerly Jung Eun-Sang, paternal grandmother Choi BaekHyun - paternal uncle Min SeokHye (formerly Jeon SeokHye) - maternal grandmother Min JiSeok - maternal grandfather PETS : At his home, he has two dogs. A white Pomeranian named Minnie, a two month old german shephard named Dora. At hogwarts he had a brown owl named Haru.
Choi DongHyun was born in the Gwangju Province of South Korea, as the second son to Choi KyuHyun and Park Eun-Sang (formerly Jung Eun-Sang). The Choi family was one of the wealthiest people to live and had major hold over the Textile and Hospitality industries. The family's textile industries were the major revenue earners and it's offices were based in several parts of South Korea, which was what DongHyun's brother - Choi BaekHyun became the CEO to Crescent Group of textiles. As the second son, DongHyun was given the management of Saffron Group which had a chain of Hotels all over the world, the largest in London. And thus right after graduating, DongHyun moved to London to start working in their family's group.
DongHyun never felt out of place even though he had to be away from his native country and people. His work made him feel like home and he grew to like his life in London. While he was attending one of their family friends' party in Seoul, DongHyun met his special someone in life, JiHye though he did not know of it. Min JiHye was the only daughter of one of the Supreme Court Justices, Min JiSeok and Public prosecutor Min SeokHye (formerly Jeon SeokHye). The Min and Choi families have known each other in passing, and when DongHyun had returned to Seoul for that gathering, his family immediately made contact with Min JiWon for a marriage to be arranged between the two. One can say that it was quite common among the high class people to be in arranged marriage. And thus, in the year of 1963, Choi DongHyun and Min JiHye were married in a grand ceremony and later they both moved to London.
Though their marriage had been arranged by their parents, DongHyun and JiHye eventually grew to become good friends, close confidantes and lovers. Having been a prosecutor in Korea herself, JiHye had opened a law firm along with a few others in London and continued her practice. And as time flew by, DongHyun successfully became the CEO of Saffron group and had vastly expanded their hotels in Europe and Middle East. Their chain of hotels became very popular in quite a less time and the family had been rewarded for DongHyun's hard work. And JiHye too had grown popular as a reliable lawyer who would win even the most impossible of cases. While they had everything money could buy, there was one lingering sadness in their happy marriage, lack of kids. Even after having been married for 12 years the couple have not conceived. They had all but give up their hopes of having their own children and actually were planning on adopting a kid. But something else had happened which put this thought away.
One Tuesday morning when JiHye was discussing a case in her Law Firm, she felt dizzy all of a sudden and fainted. She was taken to the nearest hospital and DongHyun had been asked to come back from Bergen. DongHyun who was in a meeting with some shareholders, had been worried that something has happened to his wife, and hurriedly made his way back to London. Whatever he thought had happened was all thrown in to trash the moment the doctors gave them the news. It had made the couple most happiest of them all and a day which none will ever forget. The doctors had confirmed that JiHye was carrying their first child. That day forth, DongHyun had taken great care of his wife to the point of annoying her at times. But the couple had understood each other and they knew what that child meant for them, their happiness and their world.
Eight months later, in the month of January JiHye gave birth to a healthy baby boy whom they named as Junseo. Joon had been pampered and loved and spoilt since he was a baby. He had been mostly calm in his early childhood, sleeping through most of the hours and waking up to eat his food. His introverted and closed off behaviour caused DongHyun to worry a little. He had known children to be the types to blabber, crawl around and make noises, but Joon on the other hand was just the opposite. But his worries were put to rest as Junseo began to grow him. When it was time for him to read and walk and write, he had been very receptive and all signs of him being an introvert vanished into thin air when Junseo was left with toddlers his age.
As Junseo grew up, strange things had started to happen around him to which the couple could not find an answer to. While most of the strange things went unnoticed by DongHyun and JiHye, they did catch a few of those instances. One such was when their kid's toys and books used to move on their own into Joon's outstretched hands, the way he used to make things float above him and all such crazy things. The Choi's had made sure to not mention it to anyone and kept the information to themselves. They had hoped that it was something which would pass when Junseo would grow. But little did they know that their son was a wizard and those strange things which happened was because of his magic.
Apart from those things, Junseo's life had been pretty normal, if that word can be used given his lifestyle. He had gone to the best school in London and had the best in everything. Joon had developed a strong liking to music since he was a kid and thus he ended up going to music classes on his weekends. While he was not good at playing any instruments, his singing on the other hand would put anyone under a spell. He had taken up dance class too just because he can and to his actual surprise he turned out to be a natural at it. At that age of 9, he had actually planned to pursue a career of a singer or dancer in the future, but that changed when he came to know that magic exisists.
When Junseo had turned 11, their house had been visited by one of the Hogwarts professor who had given the answers to all those questions the Choi family had in regards to Joon's unusual happenings. He had received his Hogwarts letter that day and it took less than minute for him to decide that he would be going to attend the school. DongHyun had been happy to know that nothing was wrong with his child, and he was willing for his son to learn more about magic. JiHye on the other hand had been very much reluctant to let her child go to a boarding school in Scotland. But in the end Junseo had won his mother's heart and with several promises to her he had agreed to go to Hogwarts.
Ever since he knew that he was a wizard, Junseo felt that he was very special to be one even though none in their family had been known to have magic. His first trip to Diagon Alley was something he would never forget. He had been on cloud nine as he walked his way to Gringotts and set up his own account which was immediately filled with galleons courtesy of his mother. He brought himself his books, quills and ink, a whole stock of parchment and all the potions ingredients in the list. He even got himself a fancy trunk to put his belongings inside. He had felt that the robes were a bit old fashioned but complied with the same though he knew that he would not prefer to wear it other than when it was expected og him. but little did he know that the black robes were a part of his uniform and he had to wear it all through his seven years.
And after much anticipation the day to go to Hogwarts had arrived and soon he was on his way to the school with promises to his mother to write back to her as much as he can. And that was a promise he held on to even though he grew up. He knew the reason why his mother behaved such and while he might be an arrogant guy on the outside he loves his eomma too much to not tell her everything that was going on in his life. Even though his parents were top class business people who were very busy, they still took time to spend with Junseo which was something he noted and appreciated it. Considering that not many parents care for their kids, he was happy to be the center of his parents attention. And in turn he too had been the type of guy who would confess everything to either of his parents. He always held them in a respectful position in his life, a place which none can occupy.
While Junseo was not sure on how he would be sorted, he had a fair guess that he might end up wearing the red and gold tie for his seven years of schooling. And true enough he was sorted into Gryffindor after the sorting hat mentioned that it was the best fit house for him, given that his arrogant attitude was not correct for being a hufflepuff and that his lack of passion in learning would make him unfit for Ravenclaw. The hat had considered slytherin for him, but quickly pushed away that thought when it saw just how bad Joon is when it came to being cunning. The boy was too brash and loud to be a slytherin and thus he was sorted into the House of lions.
Junseo had been recognized by a few muggleborns, given that his family's name had been on papers several times either for his father's achievement or for his mother's or simply for being the richest people to live in London. While he knew that he was recognized person in the muggle world, it gave Joon a good satisfaction to know that a few in the wizarding world knew of his family too. And that lead him to become a little more confident about himself in the new world and by his second year he was back to his usual self. he came to be known as the arrogant guy who would get things done by hook or crook. He adopted to Hogwarts like fish in water and soon enough he found himself loving flying. The activity gave him an adrenaline rush like nothing else but he never participated in the Quidditch game as it felt too brutal for his taste.
He had graduated Hogwarts with ease, and truth be told Junseo was among those who had no definite goal as to what to do after graduation. he had wanted to become a dancer, but that was something he dreamed as a kid when he did not know that he was a wizard. not that having magic made anything different to him. In fact he would say that it did not matter much to him, he can live his life as a muggle with no trouble at all. And while Junseo had been struggling as to what he should do, his eyes fell on the wanted ad for Witch Weekly. The ad was for a junior fashion columnist, and instantly he applied or it. He had no prior working experience, but he was sure that he could ace it. He was raised to become the managing director of his father's business and with that thought he was trained a lot in skills like writing and speaking all through his childhood. While he had no interest in working in his father company for a while, he sure did want to enjoy writing about fashion. And true enough he was selected as the Jr columnist and he slowly began to work his way up by writing out several articles.
And during the last year itself Junseo began to understand the wizarding world. he had not understood why people were prejudiced against muggleborns and why certain individuals were the one in power though many claim that they were on the dark side. Before he could understand what it meant to have he-who-must-not-be-named back among the living, the war broke out. given that one of his friend was someone who works in the ministry, Junseo came to know of the war starting in Hogwarts and he too joined in. he was a gryffindor and in that moment he proved why he was sorted into the house of lions. e tried his best to take down the death eaters all the while trying to protect those who need it. The war was won and Joon came out unscathed for which he was very much happy. He had picked up his work right after and this time he decided to add on the title of photographer to his work as well. He was not a professional by any means, but he was on his way, and as of now, he would only capture pictures required for his articles and some times he would capture the nature's beauty.
