Clubs are organisations whose members share a specific interest (for example: sports, music, art, reading, etc.) and/or get together on a regular basis to socialize with each other.
Here are a few of the clubs which are present in Hogwarts.
Anyone can be a member of the club and in as many as they want.
Every club has a captain and co-captain along with a professor who over sees the coming and going of the club.
A captain is usually a 7th year or a 6th year, and a co-captain can be anyone above 5th year.
If a captain graduates from the school, then the Co-captain is promoted to the post.
Usually the academic clubs are supervised by the professors who teach the subject, and some times they can over see any other clubs.
