Marselina to say is...not a nice person. She used to be a soft and care free girl, but as life threw obstacles at her, she became hard and strong willed person. Though she does not need anyone to be by her side, she secretly hopes for some one to be with her and not judge her. Her raw personality consists of being conniving, sadistic, and extremely self-centered as that was what life taught her, and she had no one to care or think about. She loves and lives for creating chaos in the lives of others though not through violence, and, with her prowess for manipulation, she's quite good at destroying others lives when they dare cross her path. She is an extremely talented actress. She appears to be kind and well-meaning, and she can play up that quality as much as necessary so as to gain what she wants. She forms relationships with people for the mere purpose of advancing herself, and there are next to zero number of people she actually cares about.

Marselina doesn't care about what the world thinks. The only thing in her mind is achieve what she wants however hard it may be. She has a stubborn attitude which often leads her into trouble though she will slither away easily. She let's her mind do the whole talking and believes that thinking through one's heart weakens their passion. She can be usually seen avoiding petty and meaningless conversations. Though she is all ears when it came down to gossips. She despises nothing more than being second-best at anything. In her mind, she has to be the best at anything she does, and anyone that stands in her way is a threat that must be eliminated in any way possible. She also has a fondness for her pet cats and dogs. When they are mentioned, she can put aside her bad attitude for a short while and actually act like a decent human being. She is quite arrogant, believing herself to be superior, but she has the skill and talent to back up her ego. What makes her truly dangerous is that she has no real emotional buttons to provoke. She is happy to taunt you about your family, love life, children, whatever, all day long, but if you try to do it to her, she'll just shrug it off, and looks as though the person has seriously lost his mind, because as long as she is stronger, only her words matter. And she has lost everyone in her life and it does not matter even if you bring up her past life.

Marselina has a rather commanding voice to that of a leader, her voice quite loud and clear. She has a thick Bulgarian accent mixed into her English as she speaks. She is very idealistic and has very strong notions about right and wrong. Her world is black or white there is no middle ground, no shades of grey. She has this innate need in her to set everything right. She has to set things right herself before anyone. She is always looking for love, to fill the void that was left because of her family’s death, not that she would admit it out loud. She is the most practical person ever, deeply grounded in her values. She abhors dreams and wishes calling them a waste of time and is never able to understand the people around her who are caught up in a whirlwind of their dreams and are ready to give up anything for them. She is often seen to be the one with the less patience and can be highly persuasive. She cannot be manipulated easily as she can see through it right from the start.

Anotnin Dolohov was a death eater first and that was why he never married nor did he have a steady partner in his life. But time and again he would go around enjoying his time with women and would leave them when he knows that they are pregnant. And Jacinta happened to be one such witch who got caught in his charms. On a mission to recruit new followers for the Dark Lord, Antonin had gone to Bulgaria and that was where he met the young Jacinta, the daughter of the Pureblood family Lyben and a recent graduate from Durmstrang. She was instantly charmed by his dark eyes and the smile he had. She went behind her family's back and began to meet him secretly. While his mission was to turn the Lyben family towards the dark lord's side, he knew that it could be accomplished through Jacinta. And with a little persuasion from Antonin, Jacinta convinced her parents to support Voldemort and not stand in his way. Little did the young girl know that Antonin was just toying with her and had no interest in her. But it was too late, and Antonin disappeared one night from their room and three months later Jacinta got the news that she was carrying his baby. They tried to get rid of the baby but the healers advised against it as that would harm Jacinta.

On a storm and thunder filled night at the age of 19, Jacinta gave birth to a beautiful baby girl whom she named as Marselina. the young girl was born out of wed-lock and being a pureblood family the Lyben's could not understand what would happen to their daughter and that was when Matthias entered their life. He was the healer who treated little Marselina when she had started to cry all of a sudden, which turned out that the kid was having a stomach ache. He was very much smitten with the girl who would give him wide smiles and make giggling noises upon seeing him. At first Matthias had started to see Jacinta as a patient's mother and no one else, but as time passed by he became attached to her as well. and a few times the duo sat down talked about casual things though most of the time they revolved around Marse. The little girl was quite the bundle of energy who would babble away while the elders talked not even knowing that they were not listening to her anymore.

As Marse grew up she began to assume that Mathias was her father and he never did deny her though his relationship with Jacinta was not official. He had been reluctant as to how the other woman would take his proposal as given that he was a half-blood and she was a pureblood. But when he gathered the courage to ask her parents for blessing they gladly gave him one and did not even blink an eye at his blood status. Because in their eyes he was the one who was giving their daughter a name and a life and they could not care less about his blood status. After all that had not saved their daughter previously from falling for Antonin. When Matthias had asked Jacinta, the witch had been rather reluctant, more because of her baby girl. But with the promises from Matthias, Jacinta agreed that she would become his wife and few months later, the couple married amidst their well-wishers.

Marselina grew up knowing for a fact that Matthias was not her own father, but she never bothered to ask who her biological was, because in her eyes Matthias was every bit of a father to her. He was the one who had been through her childhood and he was the one who had been there for her and wiped her tears after a nightmare. As years passed, Marse showed her first signs of magic and their parents had been ecstatic to say the least. She had two siblings, a brother and sister whom she loved and at the same time bossed around a lot. As she grew up she went on to Durmstrang like her parents and studied well. She was the top student in her year and was very well loved by every professor. The girls envied her and the guys admired her.

And one such admirer was a guy who was an year senior to her - Stefan. He was the guy the girls swooned over, while he only had eyes for marse. At first he had been rather shy to approach her and just watched her from afar. That continued for a very long time and their silence was put to an end the night he graduated. He approached her and talked to her and the duo had realized that they liked each other and decided to stay in touch and may be after Marse graduated, they could try and date. Last year at school had been a haze for Marse as she dreamed of her Prince Charming aka Stefan. The exchanged letters all through the year exchanging snippets of their day-to-day life and their hearts. But fate had a nasty plan in place for Marselina and she did not know of it.

After her graduation, Marselina moved in with Stefan and they both started to work, Marse started as an intern in ministry and Stefan had secured a position in the quidditch league team. They had been enjoying a routine until the news of the rise of Voldemort was heard from Britain. That caused quite the amount of stir in her family and that only increased as time passed. She could not figure out why her mother was becoming restless and why her father was trying his level best to keep the kids in the unknown. Upon asking her grandparents did Marselina finally knew the truth of who her father was and why her mother had been on edge. She had assured her mother that she would not be following Antonin, if that was what she was worried about. But she had not expected that it would be the very thing she would do.

Like every other evening, Marselina came home in high spirits eagerly waiting for the dinner with her parents, siblings and her fiancee, only to find the door open to their apartment. With apprehension, she walked in and saw that their things were all slashed open, the tables were over turned, the apartment was a mess and she even saw a few stains of blood. Amidst that she found a letter, a letter addressed to her from her father Antonin Dolohov written in what she assumed to be blood. The deal was rather simple, she was to come alone to the meeting place if she wanted to see her fiancee and her parents. And without even thinking twice, Marse apparated to the place. She had failed to even remember that the place she had gone to was a known vampire's pub. At that moment all she cared and thought of was her family who were in the clutches of Antonin. She had been expecting a similar picture, but was pretty much surprised when she found a different scene, her fiancee was laughing and talking with the vampire while her family was no where to be seen. Enraged at the scene Marse demanded what was going on and she never was ready to hear what she was told at that time.

Stefan had killed her parents in cold blood because they refused to co-operate with the dark lord. Unknown to Marse his family were already dark lord supporters and were supremacists who were halfblood and wanted to raise their family standards by taking over the Lyben name. She had been devastated to know that Stefan and everything associated with him was all a sham to get her and her wealth which she carried as the heiress to the Lyben family. She was soo angry and sad at the moment that Marse cried her eyes out and was very much oblivious to her surroundings that she missed to see a vampire approaching her from behind. And the next thing she knew, Marse could feel teeth sink into her shoulder and she succumbed to darkness with the exhaustion and shock not before hearing Stefan shouting.

When Marse woke up all she could feel was hunger, thirst for blood and an urge to kill Stefan for toying with her and killing her parents. She had never known before how a person could kill another, but at that time she understood it very well. Her sire who turned out to be a female had fed her own blood to Marse in turn completing her transformation to a vampire. She had adjusted pretty easily to her new status as a vampire, because at that moment Marse had only one urge and that was to kill Stefan for betraying her and killing her family in cold blood. She had come to know that Stefan had escaped to Britain upon knowing that she had transformed into a vampire and she followed him, after there was nothing and no one left for her back in home. She had returned to Britain (1972) when the signs were beginning to show.

Antonin had known that he was a father to quite a lot, but he never expected any of them to acknowledge him as their father. And that was what Marselina did. Betrayed by the one she loved, and blinded with revenge and a passion to kill she had approached her father. Antonin had been more than happy to know who she was and as a pureblood heiress to the Lyben family he had no qualms to welcome her, and not to mention that she was a vampire and in his eyes she was the prefect weapon who would aid in the dark lord's plan though he never had got the chance to put her in front of the dark lord for the mark. Marselina had felt a bit better in the company of her father who was not loving, but had aided her in her attempts to control and gain power of her Vampire side and helped her in tracing out the whereabouts of Stefan. She had felt at peace when her father had given the location of Stefan and she killed him in cold blood without even feeling a hint of remorse. The charming bubbly girl was gone the moment she had seen her family's corpses. Her sire, Sylvia had told her that they were left in a room full of vampires who fed on them till they were drained and were killed after they had their fun. After killing him and watching him breathe his last, whatever humanity was left in Marselina had died that day.

Marse had fought in the war alongside her father, but as a vampire she was swift and was not caught by the aurors but she saw that her father was among those taken to Azkaban. Sylvia had covered for her in the after math of the war in front of the aurors so that Marse would not be caught and thrown into Azkaban. After the war was over, the first thing she did was leave behind her name as Marselina Ivanovich-Lyben and took up the name as Marselina Sylvia Dolohov, the daughter of the known death eater and a vampire. She wanted the world to know about her father and it was the least she could do to the man who helped her exact her revenge and who welcomed her with open arms when she was lost. With the fortune she inherited Marselina had gotten herself a small villa in the outskirts of Yorkshire and took over the management of a run down boutique and under the name Vintage Line she reopened the shop in Godric's Hollow.

Years passed and Marselina lived and enjoyed her life slowly. She may seem like a rich heiress and a business person on the outer side but she still has contacts with the dark side and she herself is waiting for an opportunity to reunite with her father. She had became a ruthless woman despising anyone of the lesser blood and hated all those who thought that purebloods were weak and gullible. She had employed only females in her shop blatantly showing her hatred and dislike towards the males. And as a vampire she came to be someone people respected despite her status, for she was a pureblood before she got turned and that was what mattered. Marselina still uses magic but less frequently than before and she prefers to not do any thing and let her servants and elves do it all for her. In the year 1994 she heard the news about the return of the dark lord and she knew that her chance to meet her father was coming soon. She had been very much eager to meet her father and the wait was long for her as well. However time was cut short for her when war broke out once again and even this time he was captured and sent back to Azkaban. She had made a mental promise that she would break her father from that prison and she was going to do it, no matter the cost.
