Andromeda was born to the aristocratic pureblood Black family. She was raised to embrace the bigoted and traditional views and beliefs of the supremacy of blood purity and valued her family's wealth. And of course, she was also taught to believe that her bloodline is one of the wizarding world's proudest. While she was never like her sisters in that aspect. She had always been the type of girl to question everything and was kind of a rebel. She had befriended many in her life, but it won't be very easy to befriend her since she sets up high standards for those who she associates with.

Andromeda can be described as a very proud woman who frequently displayed a Caring and motherly side unlike her sisters. After her marriage to Ted Tonks she has been disowned which lead to quite a lot of troubles back then. She was shunned by her own family and friends which lead her to be quite closed off. However, she became slightly more social and open-minded as an adult and has a softer side to her, but it'll depend on how well people click with her to determine whether or not they're important enough to be friends. While she was treated by most people coldly, dromeda was very loving towards and devoted to her family. She cares deeply about her husband and daughter, displaying a fierce and protective temper on their behalf, as well as ruthless determination to keep them safe.

Readily gets in the way of danger if it's required to protect a loved one. She is never the type to ask for help; and always tries to do everything independently. She always tends to find the bright side of any disaster, however far-fetched. She treats everyone with respect, no matter their class or status and if you do not return it back, she would ignore them. She often thinks up elaborate solutions then discards them for being too easily seen through. She will deny/ignore own feelings as required, to avoid offending strangers. Takes practical jokes very poorly. Compulsively points out and corrects mistakes when related to personal expertise. loves to read books often. She indulges herself in research on new topics.

Cygnus Black (1929-1979)was the last child of Pollux and Irma Black nee Crabbe. He had a sister, Walburga and a brother Alphard. His sister married their second cousin Orion in order to keep the bloodlines pure while Alphard never married. He however was set to married Druella Rosier right after his graduation. The couple had their first child, Bellatrix (1951-1998) and after two years they had Andromeda (1953) and was followed by Narcissa Black. The middle one of three daughters Andi was born with brown hair and dark eyes, making her the fairest of the three by far. The family found that all their three daughters were quite magical unlike many other witches born at that time of whom most turned out to be squibs. Growing up a part of this family she was taught the pureblood ideals from a young age, which she had left behind upon falling in love with her husband.

She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and like the majority of her family, including her elder sister, she was sorted into the Slytherin House. Her Hogwarts life was quite calm and easy except a few disruptions caused by the marauders in general. She was quite talented at charms and potion and ended up scoring a high newt level score.The eldest daughter of the family, Bellatrix was married off to Rodolphus Lestrange. And while Andi was betrothed to marry Thorin Nott, she had other plans. She did not want to marry the man whom she didn't love especially when her heart belonged to a handsome Hufflepuff.

While as a sixth year student she fell in love with a muggle born named Ted Tonks who was a year above her. At first these two crossed paths a lot at library and considering her upbringing Dromeda never talked to him. But Ted was rather insistent that she try and talk to him, and get over the ideology she was taught as a kid. And one day her will broke and she started talking to him and came to know that everything she was told was all a lie. No sooner did he graduate, Andi knew that he was the man for her for she missed him a lot. She knew that there was no use trying to talk to her parents, for she feared that they would kill him in rage and spite. She kept it all a secret and only after she graduated did she run away from her house. Funnily enough she did that right on the day of engagement to Thorin Nott. Her elopement was quite the scandal back then in the pureblood society. She was cast out of the family by her dad and her aunt Walburga burned her off the family tapestry. But none of that mattered to her, she was blissfully married to Ted and began to live with his parents in their house in the muggle world.

Andromeda was just 18 when she walked away from her family, but that did not stop her from being who she wanted to be. Overtime, she began to participate in the local dueling championships and began to win them slowly and made her way up the ranks. She however stopped when she fell pregnant with their first child in the year 1973, two years after her wedding to Ted. The Tonks family was delighted to have a baby and her mother-in-law, Samantha was over the moon with joy and had taken Dromeda under her wing and made sure that she was taken care of and would not even feel the sadness she might possibly have for not having her birth family. But little did Samantha know that Andi had given up on her family, and more so when she came to know that her sister had joined the death eaters and so did her baby cousin Regulus and Lucius, her sister's husband. In the end she knew that all hope was lost for the Black family though she deep down she had craved for them to accept her back. She was at least glad that her favorite cousin, Sirius choose to be different. As kids, she and Sirius have always been close and she knew that the kid was born to rebel and considering who his mother was, Andy knew that had it been her in his place she too would've turned out the same. After her marriage to Ted, she could not see more of him like she used to.

And on the cold day of winter, Andy had given birth to her only daughter Nymphodora who was a Metamorphmagus by birth though she had light brown hair a mixture of both her parents and dark brown eye like her mother. Having an ability that rare, led Andi to be both happy and worried as to how her daughter's life would be. And that was proven well and true when her daughter began to change between the colors of her hair a lot and at times irritated Andy to no end. Nevertheless, she loved her daughter a lot even through her clumsiness and bubbling nature. She had kept Dromeda on her toes all through her childhood. While Andi had wanted to have another child, she could not conceive. After a few years, they decided to just be happy for having just one kid. While raising her daughter, she continued in pursuing her career as a healer at Mungos and started her training. And soon enough it was time for her to send her off to school. She was worried that others would bully her because of her unusual ability.

And thus Nymphodora started her schooling, sorted into Hufflepuff like her father. While And was happy about it, she was a little saddened that her daughter did not follow her and got sorted to slytherin. But then again she knew that given Dora's personality, it was impossible. Her daughter was too much of a sweet heart to be sorted into the house of snakes. And soon enough, Dora has succeeded in her schooling, making Andy proud. She then wanted to be an auror to which Andy reluctantly agreed after Ted talked her into it. She was very much worried about her safety considering that she was her only daughter. She never distrusted her skills as an auror, noo.. but it was her fear that someone would target Dora given her connection with the Black family.

All was well until the second war broke out. And that was when she had the chance to meet her cousin Sirius. He was the one person she could call as family and knowing that he was innocent brought her a part of the family she craved for. It was not lost on her that the war was once again starting. She could not forget the havoc the previous war had caused. After her sister escaped from Azkaban, Andy became more and more anxious about her daughter's safety and she quit her job as a healer and settled home worrying for her family. She knew Bellatrix since they were kids, and enough to know that Dora would be targeted for being a halfblood born to her, the blood-traitor. Though they have never been part of the Order Dora had joined in and thus the Tonks' have become the unofficial members. That was how she met her distant cousins Molly and Arthur Weasley (son of Cedrella Black and nephew of Lucrieta Black).

And it was not lost on her that her daughter had become besotted with a certain marauder. She had been only a few years senior to the marauders and had seen Remus Lupin with her cousin Sirius and suffice to say she was okay with the whole thing. And soon enough, she watched on as her only daughter married the wolf which made Andy happy even with the war outside, now officially started. And that seemed to be the only happy thing which she held on to for a very long time which might change if her daughter gives a grand child soon. Soon enough the war was on them and Andromeda along with her husband supported the Order and were made the official members of the Order at the same time. The second war had started and Andy had been among the members who were at Hogwarts and she made sure that the younger students were all sent back to Hogshead.Though she had been battling the death eaters amidst their taunts, all of her thoughts and prayers were over her daughter and the trio of kids she often saw at Sirius' home. And when she had seen the lifeless body of the boy she grew to care, Andy had been beyond shocked. But then she had seen her sister, Bella try and harm Hermione, she could not take it any more. She pulled back the trio and took to duelling her own sister along side Narcissa. The duo sent a well-aimed stunner right at their elder sister's heart and killed her. Though it pained Andy she knew it had to be done, the person she knew as her sister was long gone and in its presence was only a shell of being who had her features. It had come as a surprise for Andy when Narcissa approached her after husband's death and wanted to leave the path her husband choose. Andy had been more than happy to welcome her little sister back into her life. The war had ended finally but nor before they saw the death of a few of their own, and Andy was glad that her family was safe. She had took up her position as a healer after the war, and she was given the position of a member in the Wizengamot given her status as a Healer and as the daughter of Black family.
