Arresto Momentum is an AU Harry Potter RP site which follows the canon till the trio's fifth year and deviates from the battle of department of mysteries.

Voldemort has died in the hands of the Order of the Phoenix's leader, Albus Dumbledore in the Battle of Hogwarts on the Halloween of 1996. Many death eaters have died that day including Bellatrix Lestrange, killed by her own sisters Andromeda and Narcissa the latter revealing herself as an order supporter. Her husband Lucius Malfoy has died in the duel with Sirius Black a few months ago. Rodolphus and Rabastan Lestrange were killed by Severus Snape and Remus Lupin, and the former has died in the said duel. Peter Pettigrew died in the hands of Voldemort when he suspected Peter to be the spy in his ranks who has passed the information to the Order about his attack on Hogwarts. While most of the death eaters have been captured and sent to Azkaban, the remaining have fled away and have been hiding ever since and not heard of.

Nine months have passed since that Halloween and life has been great for the Golden trio who have completed their sixth year without any disruptions. Currently it is summer and the trio are getting ready for their upcoming school year of 1997-1998.But there is some stirring in the dark side, they have gained a new leader and they plan to reveal their presence to the world. Who is the new leader? Will they be successful? Or will the Order of the Phoenix find out out soon and subdue it before another war breaks out.
