A rogue student, leading a sinister group of followers wreaked havoc on Hogwarts two years ago, kidnapping and killing many. Known as The Purifiers, this group is determined to prove their blood superiority by any means necessary. The Order of the Phoenix has fractured under pressure. After a relatively quiet school year during which the Triwizard Tournament was hosted at Hogwarts, the summer began with the destruction of the American wizarding school, Ilvermorny. Foreign students have flooded into Hogwarts, and are being forced to pick a side, though the Purifiers have been suspiciously quiet.
